Paneer Butter Masala
Paneer butter masala is a North Indian delicacy, which is a rich creamy based curry made with paneer, onions, tomatoes, cashews, spices & butter . Soft and succulent paneer pieces simmered in a deliciously rich and creamy gravy.
One of the best recipes that comes to our mind when we go for a restaurant is Paneer butter masala and garlic naan. This recipe is so simple and easy that brings the same taste as the restaurant and right in our kitchen. And it’s delicious with homemade paneer also known as Indian cottage cheese.
So, forget the restaurant and lets make it at home . Paneer butter masala is so easy to make, and you don’t need to be an expert to make it. This is a one pot recipe and can be done in under 30min and goes well with Naan, Tandoori roti and jeera rice.
Whether you call it as Paneer makhani or any other name, this dish wins every one’s heart . Because of the butter and mild sweetness in the gravy, kids absolutely love this dish. Not only kids , adults also love this dish too.
I like experimenting this dish and use sautéed mushrooms instead of paneer and it became mushroom masala. you can even use cauliflower florets / chicken in the place of paneer to make butter chicken or cauliflower butter masala. The gravy remains the same, but you can use different veggies or chicken according to your preference. So give this recipe a try and you will definitely love it. It is lip smacking good.
